Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a four-vehicle collision on the A14 at Kentford.
Police were called by the East of England Ambulance Service at approximately 1:20am on Saturday, 31 October, following reports of a collision between junctions 38 and 39 of the A14.
The collision involved a blue Ford Transit Van, a grey Suzuki Baleno, a blue Vauxhall Corsa and white lorry.
The driver of the van, a man aged in his 60s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Addenbrookes’ Hospital for treatment, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
There were no other injuries reported.
The road was closed for several hours to allow for National Highways to conduct repairs to the road.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses, including any motorists driving in the area around the time of the collision with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle who are asked to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
